Rubber Shakes & Shingles

Rubber Shakes & Shingles

Rubber roofing shingles and shakes are practically indestructible and made from recycled tires. They are durable, aesthetic, moderately priced and eco-friendly.

Rubber roofing shingles are made to resemble more traditional shingle types such as cedar shake, tile, and slate. These rubber shingles look like the ‘real-deal’ but at a fraction of the cost and weight.

Rubber shingles are in some ways superior to standard roofing materials. They are pest-resistant, resistant to breaking or cracking, fire resistant, provide waterproofing options for roofs, as well as provide insulation for the home.

  1. Bryan Keeton says:

I would like info on the rubber shakes i.e. product lit, cost, shipping, where to buy….

  2. Bryan,

We used Enviroshake in the past. Their shingles are produced from 95% post-industrial materials (including rubber).

I see there is a manufacturer closer to home for you in San Antonio. U.S. Century makes FlexShake. Cannot find a working website, but their phone is 877-353-9742. Not sure if this Company is still in business or not.

EcoShake is manufactured in Oklahoma. This product is manufactured from 100% recycled vinyl and cellulose fiber.
